Best time for Visiting Southern Africa
While you can visit the Okavango Delta year round, the best time to visit is from May – October as the delta is coming into its full form! This is the time when you’d be likely to be able to experience water based activities due to the water levels being higher. Livingstone / Victoria Falls is a year round destination. If you want to see the falls in all their glory, then earlier in the year March – June, as you get into the drier season May – October the falls dry up a bit more. However this is the time to enjoy more of the adrenaline activities due to the water levels being a bit lower and safer to enjoy.
