The Cliff

A beautiful, intimate, exclusive camp in a beautiful setting. A serene setting, The Cliff is ideal if you’re looking to enjoy some much needed rest and relaxation. The peace and quiet is totally overwhelming! It’s the perfect place to get away from it all for a couple of days (or more if you please!) Perched atop a 100 metre high rock face, each spacious tent faces Lake Nakuru, allowing guests 180 degree views to soak in the panoramic paradise. Guests can sit on their private veranda and catch the stunning sunrise spreading its warm hues across Lake Nakuru. The warm and friendly staff discreetly attend to your every need. Guests will be spoilt for choice at the wonderful variety on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner – please don’t blame them if you leave a few kilos heavier! Head to the spa for relaxing massages or for some fitness at the fully-equipped gym. The infinity pool offers the perfect spot to take in the views of the lake and park. The call of the fish eagle will sooth you, the hyenas will lull you to sleep. The Cliff is pure Africa.

Boat Safaris on Lake Nakuru

If you can tear yourself from the luxury of your tent, experience the true beauty of Lake Nakuru from the comfort of the Seaduction. Gently sail on the lake, taking in the stunning scenery and the birdlife, after all, Lake Nakuru is a bird-watcher’s paradise. If you’re an early-bird, sail out early morning, enjoy the breakfast snacks and hot beverages as the fish eagles fly by and pelicans float on the water. A hippo or two will bob up to give you a morning nod! The afternoon boat ride offers a wonderful excursion to catch sight of the birdlife around the lake.

Entim Camp

Entim Camp is one of our favourite camps, set in one of the best locations in the heart of Masai Mara for wildlife viewing and particularly for the wildebeest migration. Tucked into dense woodland on a bend of the Mara River, guests can enjoy the wildebeest and zebras crossing the river from the shaded seclusion of this of the camp, without any other tourist traffic around. The camp’s luxury en-suite tents are raised on wooden decks overlooking the Mara River, designed to give guests the feel that it is part of the landscape. Handsomely decorated in serene earthy tones, there’s a seamless flow from inside to outside and down to the river. Hot Air Balloon Safari Over the Mara Plains

The Ultimate Safari Experience! A hot air balloon safari is a magical one-in-a-lifetime experience. As the morning sun rises, float gently high above the plains of the Mara, as the animals awaken to a new day. The silence is overwhelming except for the occasional burst of the burners. Catch sight of the elephant family gently walking, the giraffes stretching their long necks, herds of zebra, wildebeests, impalas and gazelles. Maybe even a pride of lions with their kill, or the cheetah on the lookout for its prey. Drift over the river, the hippos and crocodiles far below you. Then celebrate this amazing experience with breakfast and sparkling wine on the plains of the Mara. As safari experiences go, this is one of the best!

Lerai Safari Camp

An intimate and luxury camp, Lerai Safari Camp is the only permanent safari accommodation in the 5,000 acre Olerai Conservancy of the greater Masai Mara ecosystem of southern Kenya. Horse Riding in the Mara

Imagine riding a horse as impalas leap and gazelles graze around you. Giraffes bow their long necks towards the acacia leaves. Elephants raise their heads and watch impassive as you pass. A horseback safari is like no other experience. The thrill of being at one with nature never fades. You move freely amongst the animals as if you’re one of them. High on a horse, you ride through a herd of zebra or spot a Topi atop the termite mound. Every ride is different. The vultures rise up floating in the warm morning current, zebras gallop along, maybe a lion, deep in the bush, raises his head.
