Wildlife

Birdlife

Chobe is a birdwatcher’s paradise, boasting over 440 specie. Marvel at the highest concentration of Southern African raptors, including the majestic bateleur and the vulnerable lappet-faced vulture. Linyanti Swamp

Discover the enchanting allure of Linyanti, nestled north of Savuti within the captivating expanse of Chobe National Park. Best time to visit

Chobe National Park can be visited throughout the year. The riverfront area is best visited in the dry months, from May to October. August to October are the optimum months for wildlife viewing, however it is extremely hot. During the wet months, many animals, plains zebras specifically, migrate to the Savuti Marsh. Linyanti is best visited from April onward.
